We made this decision after careful consideration of current resources.

General Scholarship Information

The Monterey Bay Spouses’ Club (MBSC) scholarship is awarded to the dependents of active-duty, retired, or deceased military members, and veterans living in the Monterey County area within the last 5 years who show commitment to community engagement and academic achievement.

Multiple recipients may be selected for this scholarship and may be awarded up to $1,000 annually.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be the dependent of an active duty, retired, reservist, national guard, veteran, and/or deceased military personnel from any branch.
Pursuing a degree or certification at an accredited U.S. post- secondary institution on either a full-time or a part-time basis

OR

Enrolled in a vocational or technical school or certification program from an accredited U.S. Institution.
Applicants must have resided in the Monterey County area within the last 5 years.

Note: This program is on hold for 2025. Please check back in 2026 for up-to-date information.
